On our last trip, we used the price of Pepperidge Farm Coconut Cake as an indicator of how expensive a place was. The price peaked at $7.65 at Grand Canyon village and bottomed at $2.35 in Wiggins, MS. For this trip we are using one whole chicken, 2lb of rice and of course, coconut cake.
